After 14 December 2019, stricter regulations apply to the travel package for plants and plant products brought into the European Union.
The Visegrád Group and INFINE will organize the 2019 V4 Central European Film Festival. The festival, that runs from May 16 to July 31, will feature 5 recent movies screened in 10 venues all around Taiwan (Chinese and English subtitles, free of charge entrance). The purpose of the V4 Central European Film festival is to contribute to the awareness of the V4 countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) in Taiwan.

According to Taiwanese authorities, Hungary is considered as a country incfected by African Swine Fever, and the importation of food products containing Hungarian pork is illegal. Violators may be severly fined or imprisoned.

On 22 September 2018, our office participated at the 2018 Speak Dating event, where held Hungarian flanguage "flashmob classroom" for about 250-300 people.
During 27-30 June 2018, Hungary has participated at Food Taipei Show for the second time already.
The Hungarian movie by Csaba Fazekas was on show along with three other entries from Centra Europe.
