In recent times of the coronavirus, public interest is focusing on the work and legacy of Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis. The Semmelweis Museum, Library and Archive of the History of Medicine of the Hungarian National Museum wished to pay tribute to his professional legacy by publishing a virtual exhibition.
