On August 15-16, 2026, the Taipei Kids Festival was held at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei with the participation of the Hungarian Trade Office. The motto of this year’s event was "Lighting the Future Together." The free, two-day family event was jointly organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Andrew Charity Association. Approximately 30,000 visitors attended the festival, which spanned seven thematic zones.

The Hungarian Trade Office in Taipei represented Hungary with its own booth at the festival. Children could try out the world's most famous Hungarian toy, the Rubik's Cube, fill out a quiz about Hungary, color traditional Hungarian embroidery motifs, string jewelry from beads in the national colors of Hungary, and create their own custom badges. Our booth attracted continuous interest on both days, offering children and their parents a fun, interactive way to learn about Hungary and our country's culture. We would like to thank everyone who visited us, with special thanks to the members of the local Hungarian community for their help during the two days at our booth!
