Diplomatic authentication

We offer diplomatic authentication to Taiwanese documents only for Hungarian and Bulgarian use.

經台灣外交部認證後的文件,可於本處辦理文件認證,於匈牙利及保加利亞使用(於保加利亞使用者請先告知)

Diplomatic authentication of Taiwanese documents:

Taiwan is not part to the Apostille Convention, therefore all Taiwanese documents intended for use abroad must be legalized in a three-step process:

• The Taiwanese document intended for use abroad (in Hungaryor Bulgaria) must first be legalized by a Taiwanese notary public.
• Then it must be legalized at the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan. (Bureau of Consular Affairs - BOCA)
• As final step, the diplomatic authentication of the document can be requested at our Office.
