Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program – Call for application
Hungary provides high quality education in the heart of Europe. Today, there is a growing demand of international students to study in Hungary. Besides the quality of education and degrees recognized throughout Europe and beyond, students are attracted by the affordable living costs with an extremely favorable cost-to-value ratio, a safe and friendly living environment with convenient public transportation in the heart of Europe.
The Hungarian Government launched the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program in 2013. Since then, thousands of students from all around the world applied for higher educational studies in Hungary within the framework of the scholarship. According to the cooperation agreement signed in November 2020 between the Hungarian Trade Office in Taipei and the Taipei Representative Office in Budapest, Taiwanese students now have the chance to apply for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program and start their higher education in the heart of Europe (the program was also matched with an offering from the Taiwan side to provide scholarship funding for Hungarian applicants for scholarships at Taiwan universities).
